Resolve this issue by completing the steps that appear below:

  1. Ensure Your AirTV Remote's Batteries are Fresh
    If your Remote batteries not been replaced in the last 180 days, replace them.
    If you are still having problems afterwards, continue on to the next step.
  2. Ensure the Software on Your AirTV Player is Up-to-Date
    Follow these steps to check for and install software updates.
    If you are still having problems and the software is up-to-date, continue on to the next step.
  3. Ensure the Firmware on Your AirTV Remote is Up-to-Date
    Follow these steps to check for and install firmware updates.
    If you are still having problems and the firmware is up-to-date, continue on to the next step.
  4. Reset Your AirTV Player
    Unplug your AirTV Player from the electrical outlet for 10 seconds and then plug it back in.
    The reset process may take up to 5 minutes to complete.
